Never, never, ever, under any circumstance should you be looking directly at the sun with unprotected eyes! It can cause permanent eye damage! Good thing you have a SafeShot! Now let's get this eclipse party going... Safely.
Step 1) Safety check
Before using the SafeShot panel, always performa a light leak safety check.
Step 2) Make sure your smartphone has a smooth backside!
In order to get the best imaging possible, your smartphone should be flush against the SafeShot plate. This is what you want the back side to look like.
If your smartphone looks like these, you'll have problems keeping your Smartphone attached to the plate.
Step 3) Apply adhesive system
Placement of the re-mountable adhesive system, so that you can secure your smartphone to the SafeShot plate.
Note: Once in place, you can remove and remount your smartphone as many times as you want!
Step 4) View and capture the Sun

Key Tips:- Turn off your Smartphone's Auto Orientation so it doesn't move.- Turn off the Auto Brightness, and maximize the brightness.
Before viewing open your camera app and set Smartphone camera to manual mode. You will be adjusting shutter speed, f-stop, and ISO settings to optimize your image quality of the Sun.
Hold the Safeshot plate at arms length and then bring the plate 1/2 back in towards your face, until you find the most comfortable distance that allows you to see both the Sun in the eye safe window, and on the Smartphone screen.
